Hebrew Word of the Week
Based on the Weekly Torah Portion
The Hebrew word of the week is tazria ("she conceived"), taken from the weekly Torah portion called Tazria. This word appears in the second pasuk (verse) of the reading (i.e, Leviticus 12:2):
Tazria derives from a Hebrew root zara' (Strong# 2232; TWOT# 582). Here are some other words that use the same root:
"And if you are Messiah's, behold! you are Abraham's seed" (Galations 3:23)
