{"id":4263,"date":"2021-05-27T13:54:53","date_gmt":"2021-05-27T18:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/?p=4263"},"modified":"2021-05-29T03:58:13","modified_gmt":"2021-05-29T08:58:13","slug":"great-day-of-the-lord","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/great-day-of-the-lord\/","title":{"rendered":"The Great Day of the LORD&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4264 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/purimproph.jpg?resize=178%2C181&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"178\" height=\"181\" \/>Life in this evil world can be suffocating at times. \u00a0And though we may not be under the oppression of a cruel Pharaoh, we are affected by the &#8220;princes of this age&#8221; who spurn the message of the Messiah&#8217;s redemption and love, and we are still subjected to bondage imposed by taskmasters who defy the LORD and who seek to enslave us by means of lies, propaganda, and threats of violence&#8230; \u00a0The devil is still at work in the hearts and minds of many of his &#8220;little Pharaohs&#8221; that serve the world system. \u00a0Nevertheless \u201cthere is no fear in love\u201d (\u05d0\u05d9\u05df \u05e4\u05bc\u05b7\u05d7\u05b7\u05d3 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b8\u05d0\u05b7\u05d4\u05b2\u05d1\u05b8\u05d4), especially since we know that <em>ein od milvado<\/em> &#8212; there is no real power apart from the LORD (i.e., He is the only true Power in the universe). Indeed, Yeshua is <em>elyon lemalkhei-aretz<\/em> (\u05e2\u05b6\u05dc\u05b0\u05d9\u05d5\u05b9\u05df \u05dc\u05b0\u05de\u05b7\u05dc\u05b0\u05db\u05b5\u05d9\u05be\u05d0\u05b8\u05e8\u05b6\u05e5) &#8211; the \u201cRuler of the princes of the earth\u201d (Rev. 1:5) &#8211; and that means that they will answer to Him (Psalm 2). \u00a0If you belong to the Messiah you are not part of this world and its matrix of deception but instead serve the King of Kings (Col. 1:13; Acts 26:18; 1 Pet. 2:9). \u00a0Therefore set your thoughts on things above, not on things of this world (Col. 3:2). \u00a0In the end all things born of the lie will be exposed and forever put away from us (Eccl. 12:14). \u00a0\u201dThe great Day of the LORD is near; it is near and hastening quickly\u201d (Zeph. 1:14). \u201cFor though the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end &#8212; it will not lie.
