The blessing of the LORD guards us from illusion, directing our hearts to focus on what matters most; His radiance changes us, revealing the miracle of grace. As God \u201clifts up his face,\u201d he discloses his Presence within all things, and imparts to us his healing peace. God\u2019s Name is \u201cput upon\u201d us so that we become vessels that carry redemptive love and healing to the world. We are endowed with divine energy to be made fruitful; we are empowered to serve God in the truth. The consciousness of our blessedness touches every moment, and we begin to see all of life as sanctified, sacred, full of wonder and meaning.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6053\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/birkat-kohanim-analysis-1.gif?resize=512%2C924&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"924\" \/><\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-2834-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/num6-24-26-jjp-1.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/num6-24-26-jjp-1.mp3\">https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/num6-24-26-jjp-1.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>\u00ad<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/Blessings\/Blessing_Cards\/num6-24-26-lesson.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Numbers 6:24-26 Hebrew page<\/a>\u00a0(pdf)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Note that the text of this great &#8220;priestly blessing&#8221; (i.e., birkat kohanim) begins with three words, is comprised of three parts, invokes the divine Name three times, and is therefore quite appropriately called &#8220;the three-in-one blessing.&#8221; Note further that each of the three phrases begins with the Hebrew letter Yod (\u05d9), suggesting the threefold hand of YHVH (\u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d4) that touches you: the Father blesses you (\u05d9\u05b0\u05d1\u05b8\u05e8\u05b6\u05db\u05b0\u05da\u05b8); the Word of God shines upon you (\u05d9\u05b8\u05d0\u05b5\u05e8), and the Spirit of God lifts you up and carries you in the way of life (\u05d9\u05b4\u05e9\u05bc\u05c2\u05b8\u05d0). The threefold blessing is One, of course, just as Adonai echad: \u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05d5\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05b6\u05d7\u05b8\u05d3, the LORD is One (Deut. 6:4), and the essence of the blessing is to partake of healing and wholeness as expressed in the Hebrew word shalom (\u05e9\u05c1\u05b8\u05dc\u05d5\u05b9\u05dd). Amen.
