S. Lewis).<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>\u201cThe figure of the passing-away world (Isa. 40:6) is like an old man&#8217;s face, full of wrinkles, and foul with weeping: we are waiting when Jesus shall be revealed from heaven, and shall come and wipe the old man&#8217;s face\u201d\u00a0 (Samuel Rutherford).<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">God understands the ache of y<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1051 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/chag0q3i94r.jpg?resize=125%2C126&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"125\" height=\"126\" \/>our heart: &#8220;O Lord, all my desire is before you; my groaning is not hidden from you&#8221; (Psalm 38:9). Be encouraged: Until the Master of the Universe helps, the Master of the Universe will help&#8230; Amen. God will help us, and he will help us before we even know that he helps us! Therefore do not be anxious, and do not fear, for \u201cyour heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask Him\u201d (Matt. 6:8). God will make everything new, in the name and for the sake of his great love&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5369\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/psalm38-9-analysis-1.gif?resize=561%2C542&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"561\" height=\"542\" \/><\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-1480-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/psalm38-9-jjp-1.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/psalm38-9-jjp-1.mp3\">https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/training\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/psalm38-9-jjp-1.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hebrew4christians.com\/Blessings\/Blessing_Cards\/psalm38-9-lesson.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psalm 38:9 Hebrew page<\/a> (pdf)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It is written, &#8220;The world is built in chesed&#8221; (\u05e2\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05dd \u05d7\u05b6\u05e1\u05b6\u05d3 \u05d9\u05b4\u05d1\u05bc\u05b8\u05e0\u05b6\u05d4), which means that our inner life is being built by God&#8217;s love&#8230; &#8220;So do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory (\u03b1\u1f30\u1f7d\u03bd\u03b9\u03bf\u03bd \u03b2\u1f71\u03c1\u03bf\u03c2 \u03b4\u1f79\u03be\u03b7\u03c2) beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal&#8221; (2 Cor. 4:16-19). We must trust in God\u2019s unseen hand for our good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Therefore &#8220;let the one who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the Name of the LORD (\u05d9\u05b4\u05d1\u05b0\u05d8\u05b7\u05d7 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05e9\u05c1\u05b5\u05dd \u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05d5\u05b8\u05d4) and rely on his God&#8221; (Isa. 50:10). Trusting in God (i.e., <em>bittachon<\/em> &#8211; \u05d1\u05b4\u05bc\u05d8\u05b8\u05bc\u05d7\u05d5\u05b9\u05df) does not mean that we are obligated to affirm that this is &#8220;the best of all possible worlds,&#8221; though it does mean we believe that eventually God will wipe away every tear and make all things right.. Trust receives the promise of a future good and the unseen miracle.
