The Hebrew word of the week is the infinitive lirot (לִרְ×וֹת), meaning "to see," "to look at," "to consider," "to experience," "to understand," etc. The Hebrew root ra'ah (רָ×ָה) occurs over 1200 times in the Tanakh, first occuring in Genesis 1:4: "And God saw (וַיַּרְ×) that the light was good." A derivative of this verb occurs in the second verse of Parashat Va'era:
