Whom have I in heaven?

Finding our true heart's desire...

Psalm 73:25 (BHS)

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is nothing
on earth I desire beside you. (Psalm 73:25)

What do you see?

Although you might try to find satisfaction in the things of this world, in the end only a loving relationship with God can satisfy the profound hunger of your soul for lasting meaning and real significance....

Remember this when you consider the seeming success of those who esteem the fleeting things of this world more than God!  There will be a final reckoning, like waking from a dream, wherein the heart's affections will be fully manifest -- for "where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matt 6:21).

Exercise yourself to see things differently. The same object can be viewed in an entirely different way to open up new insight...

All that the world promises, all the pleasure and transient successes, are but a means to another end, something of which you may partake if you are given the eyes to see....

The secret joy of truly being in love with God! What in this world can be compared with this great gladness?
